Bauhaus and Gropius in Górnica

Farmstead in Górnica is the hometown of Walter Gropius (1883 - 1969), a prominent architect and visionary.

This is the place where he stayed as a young man. This is where he got his joy, inspiration, fun and experience. His grandfather and uncle lived here, whom he visited often. He left behind many buildings in the area that he designed, including the granary in Jankow, the granary in Miroslawiec, and Metzler's villa in Drawsko Pomorskie,
